Angela Heisch is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. She has been awarded fellowships from the Dedalus Foundation, Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and Guttenberg Arts. Her recent exhibitions include Taymour Grahne Gallery, Ortega y Gasset, and currently, a solo exhibition at Gallery 106 Green, Brooklyn. Her work has been featured in The Brooklyn Rail, Maake Magazine: Issue 02, and numerous blogs about current art. Working with a select architectural and anthropomorphic abstract language, her paintings are associative, self referential, and psychological.
