Elaine Lorenz has exhibited her work in numerous exhibitions and sculpture sites throughout the US, among them the Socrates Sculpture Park, Long Island City, NY; the Newark and Montclair Museums, NJ, and the International Sculpture Center, Washington, DC. Her sculptures are found in numerous private, public and corporate collections including the NJ Environmental Center. Among the artist’s grants and awards are those from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, the NJ State Council on the Arts, the Athena Foundation Grant, Socrates Sculpture Park, and fellowships for the MacDowell Colony and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts.
Lorenz maintains a view of nature as a primary source of energy and poetic influence on her work.
